INM-A Potential Way of Farming in Reduction of CH4 and CO2 Emission in Rice-sunflower Sequential Cropping System

Aim: To find out the CH4 and CO2 emission pattern considerable amount of SOC sequestered by using different organic sources in sandy clay loam soil.
 Study Design: Randomized Block Design.
 Place Duration Study: The study was conducted a farmer's field at Ayanathur, which is geographically located 11°23’N latitude, 79°29'E longitude, an altitude +26 m MSL. confined to 2 years cycle from September 2016 January 2018 I II crops respectively.
 Methodology: Different manures viz., Farm Yard Manure @ 12.5 t ha-1, vermicompost, pressmud, poultry manure, composted coirpith are each 5 ha-1 were applied as basally incorporated along with Azospirillum phosphobacteria kg soil application time last ploughing. Fertilizers per treatment schedule 150:50:50 N, P, K followed throughout period through urea, Di Ammonium phosphate muriate potash for rice crops. An open path LICOR analyzer 7700 7500 fluxes during calibration eddy covariance emissions calculated.
 Results: Combined Recommended dose fertilizers Farmyard manure reduced 13.6 15 % over other whereas, 54.4 53.8% 61.5 53.9 sunflower respectively. Concomitantly, increased 6.8 7.5% 4,7 4.4% sources.
